Ganpati Puja

Lord Ganesha, the son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, is one of the most revered Gods. Ganesh Sthapana Puja is performed during the Ganesh Chaturthi that falls on the 4th day after Amavasya in the Hindu month of Bhadrapada. The procedure of this homam is by invoking Lord Ganapathi followed by the chanting of Ganapathi Mantra and then performing the Ganapathi puja to receive his blessings.
